It can be fixed if the disk is dynamic but if not dynamic you'd have to start from scratch. As for personal use I'm sure those tools are great but for us in a large enterprise I need to dump the images to tape and they can be huge (I have a number of 1+ TB volumes).Chad Smallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02637281120881655693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13518440.post-1127806670138458422005-09-27T00:37:00.000-07:002005-09-27T00:37:00.000-07:00Acronis True ImageAcronis True ImageAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13518440.post-1127806494654587352005-09-27T00:34:00.000-07:002005-09-27T00:34:00.000-07:00Hello, Chad_Small!Yes, making backup is great solu...Hello, Chad_Small!
Yes, making backup is great solution to be sure in safety off your system.
As for me I use to make a full hard disk backup. To my mind It's the most convenient and easiest way.
This program has very nice intuitive windows wizard. I just create en exact image of my Hard disk and keep it on DVD, but once my HDD faild, so I had to purchase another HDD. As I had a copy of my faild HDD, I could easily restore it onto new HDD.
Note: the size of my old HDD was 20 GB, but the size of new is 40, so it restored image on 40 GB and I've got the perfect 40 GB hard disk. This program alows restore image on any larger size partition (just mustn't be smaller than occupied space on previous HDD).
Me best recommendation, truly safely!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
